Today one of my students is celebrating her birthday, and it's the first birthday in our class this school year. I usually give each child a birthday pencil and bookmark on their special day. I never got around to buying the bookmarks this year, so I decided to make little notecards instead. These were very quick. I cut the cupcakes from the Cricut Sweet Treat cartridge at 2 1/2". The Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes and Divine Swirl folders added some fun dimension to them. Of course, I also had to use Action Wobbles to attach the cupcakes to make them even more fun!
My actual notecards were made with the Papertrey Ink Lunchbox Note die.
On the inside, I stamped a sentiment from the My Creative Time Gift Card Sentiments stamp set.
Recipe:
The Paper Studio "Birthday Extravaganza" Patterned Paper
Papertrey Ink "Lunchbox Note" Die
Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate & Hibiscus Burst Cardstock
Cuttlebug "Distressed Stripes" & "Divine Swirls" Patterned Paper
Action Wobbles
My Creative Time "Gift Card Sentiments" Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink True Black Ink
Very Nice. I love this idea. Perfect Gift too for the teacher to give to their students. I have this die too but have never gotten around to using it. Thanks for the idea.
