Monday Madness... Imagine That!

Welcome to another "Monday Madness... Imagine That" post!  Today Emma and the My Creative Time Design Team are showcasing projects using the Cricut Imagine (or their own patterned paper, if they don't have the Imagine).  I used my Imagine to create a custom background paper by first printing an 8" square using the orange stripes from the Imagine Buccaneer cartridge and then printing my other pattern from the Imagine Black & White cartridge right on top.  I printed it so large because I wanted my stripes to be diagonal.  With an 8" square, I was able to cut a 5" x 3 3/4" rectangle on the diagonal.  Since I wanted more of a vintage look, I toned down the background and orange cuts on the card with some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  If you are interested on seeing a video on how to layer Imagine prints, click here.

The skeleton is cut at 4 1/2" from the Cricut Happy Hauntings cartridge, and the cute little pumpkin is cut at 1" from Create a Critter.

To make my cute sentiment, I die cut my shapes using the My Creative Time Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies.  I then stamped the sentiment from the My Creative Time All Around Halloween stamp set with Versamark Ink and heat embossed it with some white embossing powder.

I stamped the inside with another cute sentiment from All Around Halloween.  Here's a peek at the stamp set and dies.  Click here for ordering information.  Be sure to stop by My Creative Time to see the rest of today's projects!
