Birthday Hugs

This cute card was so EASY to make with the Cricut Love You a Latte cartridge!  The frames and cupcake are all part of the same cut.  To turn this into a card, I took the background piece and copied it on my Gypsy.  I welded two of them together to make my card base.  The third is the brown polka-dotted layer.  Everything was cut at 4 1/4".

To add a sentiment, I cut part of a banner using the Papertrey Ink Double-Ended Banner Die.  The sentiment, from My Creative Time's Wow!  So Many Candles stamp set, actually says, "Birthday hugs are coming your way!"  Since that wouldn't fit here, I covered up "are coming your way" with scotch tape when I inked up the stamp.  I then removed the tape and stamped "Birthday Hugs."  I attached the brad through all of the layers, before adhering them to the card base.

Recipe:

Papertrey Ink Vintage Cream Cardstock
My Mind's Eye "Lime Twist:  Life of the Party" Patterned Paper
Papertrey Ink Double-Ended Banner Die
My Creative Time "Wow!  So Many Candles" Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate Ink
Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink
My Mind's Eye "Mischievous" Brad
