November Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge

It's time for the November Papertrey Ink Blog Hop Challenge!

Today's challenge is to create something with PTI products, getting inspiration from the photo above.  I was inspired by the colors (mostly the red and white, plus the brown of the stairs), the wooden bannister and the hanging ice-skates.

The base of my card is made from 4 1/4" x 8 1/2" Rustic White cardstock, scored at 4 1/4".  The Pure Poppy layer is a 4" square, and the kraft layer is a 3 3/4" square.  I stamped the kraft layer with text from PTI's Background Basics:  Christmas stamp set and inked around the edges.  Instead of ice-skates, I used hanging mittens cut with felt with a PTI Love Lives Here: Holiday die. I attached them with a brad and twine to a strip of Rustic White cardstock that I had stamped with a sentiment from Love Lives Here:  Holiday, ran through my Cuttlebug with the PTI Woodgrain Embossing Plate, and popped up with some dimensionals.

I added more Pure Poppy & Rustic White squares for the inside of the card and stamped a sentiment from Stylish Sentiments:  Holiday.
