What a great idea!!
Congrats, Scrapnatic! Emma will be announcing the final winner tomorrow. Good luck!
In other news, my son Eric found out last week that he made his high school's JV basketball team! Go, Eric! He is so excited, and I am thrilled for him. The day he found out, I picked up this yummy cake on the way home from work and got busy making decorations while he was at practice. Luckily, my new Cricut Ribbons & Rosettes cartridge was waiting at my front door!
I used Eric's team colors to make three rosettes. For each one, I cut the main shape on the cartridge at 2" five times and adhered them together. I'm not sure why I didn't cut just cut the 2" x 11" border twice; it would have been a lot easier. I'll try that next time. For this rosette, I adhered a sentiment from My Creative Time's Slam Dunk that I had stamped onto a label made with the My Creative Time Fancy Frame Stamp & Die Set.
This rosette's decoration was made with My Creative Time's Scallop & Stitched Circle Dies, stamped with images from Slam Dunk.
Here's another using the Fancy Frame and Slam Dunk. I adhered everything with hot glue, including the lollipop sticks.
