It's our last day of My Creative Time April Sneak Peeks! Have you loved what you've seen so far? Have you created your shopping list? There are two more awesome new sets being sneaked today, and I'm sharing one of them: And Then Some!
My parents' 51st anniversary is this weekend, so I thought I'd make them an anniversary card. This card is 4 1/4" x 4 3/4" The popped up layer is 3 3/4" x 4 1/4". I used a nestled die technique that I once shared in a video, if you'd like to see how to do it. The adorable "&" sign was made with a die from And Then Some and stamped with one of the three patterns that coordinates with it! I used two of the heart dies from the Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO die collection and stamped a sentiment from Once Upon a Time on one of them. Thanks to my design team sister Kim for the idea of pairing hearts with the & sign!
I stamped another sentiment from Once Upon a Time on the inside of the card and aded a few hearts made with dies from the 4X4 Journal Die + More.

What a sweet card . Love the colors you used. Sandie
ReplyDeleteWhat a terrific anniversary card, of course it would work for a wedding or engagement, too. I must thank you for turning me on to insetting the diecuts into the negative. When a first saw you do it with the party balloon dies, I was hooked. Now here's another idea to add to the technique.
