MCT 45th Edition Sneak Peek #1

It's time for another week of My Creative Time sneak peeks, and you are going to just love this release!  I'm having a blast playing with it!


Today we are showcasing a very fun new die set called Stitched Starburst Dies.  It comes with six starburst dies in graduated sizes.  I actually used all of them on card today!  To make it, I took a piece of aqua cardstock, and die cut the largest starburst out of the bottom right corner.  Then I used the same die to make a lavender starburst to nestle into that spot.  I repeated this process in the bottom left corner with the next size smaller die and navy cardstock, and then just continued on in this fashion until I had used all of the starburst dies.  Then I covered a piece of printer paper with adhesive and put together all of these puzzle pieces on it, and then trimmed the whole thing with one of the Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  I stamped a sentiment from Sweet Wishes onto the white starburst and added the "Sweet" diecut from this same set, cut in silver cardstock.  Then I mounted this whole piece on fun foam before adhering it to my card base.  A few sequins finished it off.

    I love how you put the starburst dies all together like a puzzle or even to me it looked like the workings of the inside of a clock but whatever it came out really looking super!     OMG Miss Katie WOW WOW WOW!! I love your card is so beautiful and fun!! The colors are gorgeous!! When I read your recipe I was in awe of what you did!! Your ideas are so cool, clever and creative you took these new die to another whole creative level WOW love your puzzle to explain it....I so can't wait to give this a try.
