It's back to school for me today! I'll be welcoming a new crop of third graders this morning, and I thought I'd share the welcome poster that's hanging in the window of my classroom. A few weeks ago I opened up Cricut Design Space and searched for the owl images that I own. I was surprised to see that there were more than 20 of them! I went ahead and cut them then, using some pretty shades of Papertrey Ink cardstock. I cut 20, since I usually have around 20 kids, and I actually ended up with exactly 20 in my class. Perfect!
I love that every owl is different! Yesterday I found a tag in Cricut Design Space and cut 20 of them, in a bunch of different colors. I wrote all of the students names on them and glued them to the owls' wings.
Lastly I just had to make up my little saying for the center of the poster. I think my new students will have fun looking for their owls!
This is beyond adorable Katie! Your kiddos are going to LOVE seeing their names on these cuties!
