23rd Birthday Card

My nephew turns 23 this weekend!  So hard to believe; they grow up so fast!  I made this card for him using one of the My Creative Time MORE Stitched Rectangular Dies for the background, stamping it with patterns from Papertrey Ink's Grunge Me.  I cut the numbers with my Cricut Explore, using the Cricut Alphabet cartridge, and "birthday" was made using the PTI Wonderful Words:  Birthday die.  "Happy" and "rd" were stamped using stamps from PTI's Big Birthday Wishes set.

MCT 68th Edition Sneak Peek #3

It's our last day of the My Creative Time 68th Edition sneak peeks!  Tomorrow is the day you can finally see this awesome release in its entirety and get shopping!  But first, we have one last set of dies for you to get a glimpse of today.  We've got adorable pinwheel dies!

I've found that since I've gotten into crafting, I've stepped up my gift wrapping too.  I never use those shiny bows that you can just stick on top of a package anymore, but there are times I'd like something that shape.  Well, I was able to create something similar using the new Small and Medium Stitched Pinwheel Dies! Layered together, they make the perfect bow!  Each pinwheel die comes with a circle topper, but if you are one of the first 75 shoppers tomorrow, you can get this month's freebie, which is the Pinwheel Center Dies, which includes hearts and stars for the centers of your pinwheels!  You can see I used the heart for mine, and then just put a brad through to hold it all together.  Some glue dots attached the whole thing to my box.  I also added a tag made with the Mini Chalkbaord Tags set.  I made the box with my Cricut Explore (I can't remember which cut I used from Cricut Design Space).

*Sneak Peek Giveaway***

Bunny Birthday Card

Here's another birthday card for one of my students.  The Cricut is the best for making personalized cards for them!  This little girl loves rabbits, and I found a cute cut for her on the Kate's ABCs cartridge.  I mounted it on a mat made from one of the Scallop Stitched Square Dies from My Creative Time and added a sentiment from Papertrey Ink's Birthday Bash Sentiment.  Cute, easy, and fun!

Happy Birthday Puppy

I found this cute little puppy on the Cricut Four Legged Friends cartridge, and it's perfect for one of my student's birthday cards!  I made a little pillow for it using the My Creative Time Stitched Oval Die and adhered all of it to a mat made with one of the MCT Scallop Stitched Square Dies.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's Inside & Out Birthday.

Dinosaur Birthday Card

One of my students love dinosaurs, so I had to use a cut from the Cricut Dinosaur Tracks cartridge for his birthday card.  For the background, I used the My Creative Time Stitched Rectangular Frame Die, along with one of the More Stitched Edges Dies.  The sentiment, which I heat embossed with Hero Arts White Embossing Powder, is from MCT's Prehistoric Holidays.
