You Rock Watercolor Card

I pulled out one of the retired My Creative Time stamps to make the fun background on this card:  Hexy Background.  I heat embossed it with white embossing powder on watercolor paper and then watercolored it using the Tim Holtz Distress Inks listed below.  After it dried, I trimmed it using the largest of the MCT Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies.  For my sentiment, I made a mat with one of the new MCT More Scalloped Stitched Ovals, trimming off the edge of it, and stamping it with "you rock" from Papertrey Ink's Boys Basic Rock On.  The guitar is stamped with a stamp from this same set, and die cut with a coordinating die.

  1. Hexy Background is so pretty used for this technique. I like how you offset the oval for the focal image. Beautiful job.
