Basketball Bear Birthday

I have so many fall birthdays in my class this year!  This little guy loves sports, so I found this cute basketball playing bear on the Cricut Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  I made a background using the My Creative Time Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies for the white layer and the MORE Stitched Rectangular Frame Dies for the woodgrain/red layer.  To finish off the red layer, I trimmed it with the straight stitched die from MCT's More Stitched Edges and then ran it through my Vagabond with the Cuttlebug Bricks Embossing Folder.  The sentiment was made with the Papertrey Ink Stylish Sentiments:  Birthday stamp set.

Get Well for a Child

A little girl in my class had surgery last week, so I made this sweet card to cheer her up.  It's a 4 3/4" square card.  I made the pink patterned layer by making a square using one of the new My Creative Time Fun Stitched Edges dies.  I just love how it turned out with the scallops and the stitching!

This sweet little doctor bear was cut at 3" from the Cricut Teddy Bear Parade cartridge.  I cut the teeny little heart on the x-ray with a die from MCT's Stitched Cocktail Party Dies.  He seemed to be floating on my card at first, so I grounded him with a little rug made with the MCT Stitched Oval Die.

The sentiment is from MCT's Vintage Sentiments, and I stamped it on a speech bubble made with MCT's Stitched Square Speech Bubbles.  It was the perfect match for the little bear!

Happy Easter!

I made a couple more Easter cards to send out to family this week.  For these, I used the "there's no bunny like you" sentiment from My Creative Time's Color Me Happy and "Happy Egg Hunting!" from MCT's Happy Hunting.

I couldn't resist this little teddy bear dressed up like a bunny from the Cricut Teddy Bear Parade cartridge!  I ran his bunny suit through my Vagabond with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder and gave him a cute Peachy Keen face.  The doily background was made with My Creative Time's Stitched Doily Die.

The first card I made was for my nephews, and then I just switched up the colors to make one for my niece.
