Get Well Butterfly Jar

My mom had surgery on her throat yesterday, so I made and sent her this A2 size card over the weekend.  Hopefully it will be waiting for her when she gets home from the hospital today and will cheer her up a bit.

The cute butterfly jar cut is from the Cricut Kate's ABCs cartridge at 3 1/2".  I used my Gypsy to hide all of the tic marks on the base cut of the jar, cutting it once in white and once in vellum.  After adhering the plant and butterflies to the white layer, I adhered the brown outline to the vellum.  It was then easy to put the glue on the vellum, just around the edges, where the brown layer could hide it.  I made a little "Feel better" tag with Papertrey Ink stamps and die, and attached it to the jar with some Trendy Twine.

My sentiment, stamped on the My Creative Time Stitched Oval Die, is from the My Creative Time Pain Pain Go Away! stamp set.

Recipe:

Papertrey Ink Summer Sunrise, Dark Chocolate, & Stamper's Select White Cardstock

My Mind's Eye "Good Day Sunshine" Patterned Paper (blue polka dot)
My Mind's Eye "Lime Twist:  Life of the Party" Patterned Paper (pink flowered)
DCWV Patterned Paper (orange)
My Creative Time "Stitched Oval Die" & "Pain Pain Go Away!" Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink "Tiny Tags" Stamp Set & Die
Trendy Twine
Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate Ink
