Sunflower Hugs Card

Here's a little card I made for a sweet friend who hasn't been feeling well lately.  It's a 4 1/2" square card, with the brown layer cut as a 4" square, and the yellow polka-dot layer cut as a 3 3/4" square.

For my focal point,  I stamped a sunflower and sentiment from the Papertrey Ink Simple Sunflower stamp set on a 2 1/2" shape cut from the Elegant Edges Cricut cartridge.  Because I cut this pretty small, the little holes didn't cut out completely with the Cricut.  I went over them with a Fiskars hole punch so the brown layer beneath would show through.

Recipe:

Papertrey Ink Kraft, Dark Chocolate, & Rustic White Cardstock
My Mind's Eye Lost & Found "Rosy" Patterned Paper
Papertrey Ink "Simple Sunflower" Stamp Set
Papertrey Ink Dark Chocolate & Summer Sunrise Ink
Prairie Bird Boutique Crinkle Ribbon
ColorBox Cat's Eye Chalk Ink
