Birthday Spinner Card

My nephew turned 6 last week, and I thought it would be fun to make an interactive card for him.  I decided to make a spinner card.  The quick video below shows it in action.

This is an A2 size card.  The brown layer is 4" x 5 1/4".  To make the clouds, I printed a pattern from the Cricut Imagine Best Friends cartridge on white cardstock.  I then used my Gypsy to make a 3 3/4" x 5" rectangle with a 3.35" x 0.24" rectangle inside of it.  I cut this twice, once in the cloud paper, and once in the grass paper, which I edged with the Martha Stewart Icicle Punch.

My adorable sentiment and tag are once again from My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings!

The cute little dog is from the Cricut Nate's ABCs cartridge.  He's 2.75", with a 4.18" party hat from Straight From the Nest welded to his head.  I cut the ball, also from Nate's ABCs, at 1.25".  Underneath it is a pop dot and a penny!  To see exactly how to make a spinner card, watch this video from my talented friend Liz, at Liz's Paper Loft!
