MCT Scrapping the Little Things

Happy Monday!  We've got another Scrapping the Little Things with My Creative Time for you today! This was a great excuse for me to complete another page of our trip back east in June.  We arrived in Boston in the afternoon, and since our hotel was close to Boston Common, we headed over there after dinner for a photo shoot.  Eric had been wanting to get some pics of water reflecting at night, and I thought that would be the perfect place!

For my title card, I used the Stitched 4x6 Journal Die to cut some patterned paper from American Crafts.  I created my title in Silhouette Studio by making an offset of "PHOTO SHOOT" and welding it to "Nighttime."  I cut that in black, and then cut the original "PHOTO SHOOT" from some patterned paper from Simple Stories Urban Traveler and "Nighttime" from blue AC cardstock.  That cute little camera was made with the Stitched Camera Die.

Both of my journaling cards were die cut with the Stitched Journal Die.  I stamped this one with one of the stamps from Journal It!  Then, I die cut the tag from the Stitched Round Tab, Arrow, & Tag set. Because the whole tag would not fit on the card with my journaling, I ran it through my Vagabond again, with the excess tag peeking out from under the Stitched Journal Die.  Then I was ready to have some fun with layered stamping!  I used a sentiment from Treasured Moments, a heart from My One and Only, and an arrow from You Are Here!

For this journaling card, I added some fun bright chevron strips using a stamp from It's All About You.  The cute camera is from Camera Shy, and the sentiment is from Things I Love...

It really is fun to use some blank or subtle patterned paper for your Project Life cards and then play with layering stamps.  I like to put the pictures I'm going to use into the pockets and then sit down next to my stamps and just start pulling any set that might work for the page.  It always surprises me how many options I have!
