Welcome to the My Creative Time "12 Days of Christmas"! You are in for a lot of fun for these twelve days - daily projects by Emma and the design team, along with some fabulous prizes celebrating Emma's one year anniversary! If you arrived here from Jeanne, then you are headed in the right direction. If not, please start at Emma's blog here.
My card today is A2 size, so the brown base is cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scored at 4 1/4". I then cut a dark red layer at 5 1/4" x 4". The patterned layer is 4" x 3 3/4", and I inked around the edges before adhering it down.
I love using Emma's Whimsical Calendar Days stamp set and her XL Label Die on cards. I think it goes great with the vintage papers and brad on this one.
The fun little elf that is pointing to December 25th is from my favorite Christmas Cricut cartridge, Jolly Holidays. I printed some flesh colored paper for his face with my Imagine and stamped his face with some Peachy Keen stamps. He's cut at 3 1/2" and popped up with some dimensionals. I also added a Glam Rock for the rocking horse's eye.
